As part of the programme around her solo exhibition at Harbour House in summer 2023, FOUR ON THE FLOOR | SIX IN THE SIR, Bronwen Buckeridge led The Woodland Orchestra. 

We engaged in deep listening to tune our ears to the beauty of West Alvington woods, created sound drawings and then composed and played back a DIY finale to the birds, the wind and surrounding trees using instruments made from foraged materials.

Bronwen Buckeridge is a CAST studio artist and Falmouth University lecturer. She works with field recording, performative events, installation and text. Recent projects include a live pigeon race, a crochet machine directed by birds and an earthwork made with the assistance of witches.
