Harbour House is located just south of the roundabout where The Promenade meets Ilbert Road, Fore Street and Church Street. Please note that we do not have a car park, however there is a public car park available across the road on The Quay. We are easily accessible by local buses, (including the number 3 bus from Plymouth.)

Harbour House Kitchen
Harbour House Kithen is our in-house cafe on the first floor above the gallery. It is a bright and airy space with direct access to our beautiful sheltered garden. The cafe serves coffees and house baked cakes, breakfasts and a seasonal lunch menu providing a choice of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. All choices are available to eat in or take away. We welcome children and are dog friendly too. If you are planning a visit please see further details below.
Local growers provide organically grown salads and vegetables, Hylsten Bakery deliver organic sourdough breads, Owen’s roast the delicious organic Baya coffee beans and they serve Heron Valley juices and bottled spring water from Devonia at Beesands.
Families are welcome and they offer all menus half size/half price for children. There is a selection of toys and books as well as high chairs. The cafe is dog friendly too!
The cafe hosts a range of workshops designed to bring people together, share skills, and inspire creativity and the space is also available to hire for private events. Harbour House Kitchen is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone, and look forward to welcoming you soon.

Accessibility
We offer step-free access to our ground floor gallery space and our Quay Lane studio leading through to our courtyard garden. Wheelchair users, we have portable ramps we can put in place to make your access easier – do please call us ahead of your visit so we can ensure they are in place for your convenience. Please note that we currently don't have a lift.
Our work centres around presenting dynamic, thought-provoking exhibitions and events that are accessible to everyone. We’re also passionate about empowering young people in our community through our active schools programme which includes a Creative Leadership project. This initiative helps young people develop creative and curatorial skills, and leadership, project management and budgeting skills too. We're committed to fostering the next generation of socially engaged and active members of our community.
