Harbour House, together with our cafe Harbour House Kitchen, is partnering with local colleges and universities to give emerging artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional public setting.
Working with students from Kingsbridge Community College, Arts University Plymouth, the University of Plymouth, and South Devon College, this initiative helps bridge the gap between education and the creative industries.
At Harbour House, our goal is to enrich the lives of people in our community and to engage meaningfully with as many residents as possible.
With opportunities for young people/students to explore creativity increasingly limited, we believe it is vital to provide platforms where new voices and ideas can be seen.
By opening our cafe walls to student artists, we connect with the wider community while giving young creatives valuable exposure and hands-on experience in the exhibition and curation process.
