An estuary walk and drawing workshop for all ages led by artist Tom Kaniok.

A family walking and drawing workshop led by artist Tom Kaniok, exploring the hidden ecology of the estuary at low tide.

Together we’ll discover crabs, shrimp, ragworms, molluscs and seaweeds beneath our feet, then pause to sketch what we find in our books. If the weather allows, we’ll finish with a relaxed picnic by the shore.

Meet at Bowcombe Creek bridge - limited on road parking available along Embankment Road. 

You will need: wellies and warm/waterproof clothing depending on the forecast. If you would like to join us for a picnic after the workshop concludes, you are welcome to bring their own supplies for this!
