July was a fantastic month at Harbour House, with 430 participants joining us across six free workshops and events. Throughout the month, we worked with a range of community groups, bringing people together through creativity, movement and contemporary art.

Our participants included members of the general public, adults with learning disabilities and differences, and Year 4 and 5 pupils from Kingsbridge Community Primary School.

In the lead-up to the opening of our current exhibition, Ekleido and the duo's live performance as part of Kingsbridge Fair Week 2026, our programme celebrated movement, creativity and self-expression through a variety of engaging activities.

Highlights included:

• Weekly mural workshops led by local artist Llyr Davies, supporting pupils from Kingsbridge Community Primary School to design a permanent mural for their school.
• Inclusive workshops combining movement, creativity and self-expression.
• Rorschach-inspired lantern-making and dance workshops.
• An Easy Read exhibition session, helping to make contemporary art more accessible.
• A live movement performance celebrating dance, collaboration and creative expression.

Thanks to the support of our funders and partners, every workshop and event was offered free of charge, ensuring that everyone could take part regardless of financial circumstances.
