Community Engagement Stats

January got us off to an inspiring start, and we’re excited to share a snapshot of what we’ve been up to in the community over the past month.

📆 January 2026 at a glance

  • 40 participants
  • 6 free workshops and events
  • 4 amazing community groups

Throughout January, we had the pleasure of working with a wonderfully diverse range of people. These included Year 4 students from Kingsbridge Community Primary School, adults with learning disabilities and differences, socially isolated adults, and the Women’s Art Group at Plymouth Racial and Equality Council. Each group brought their own creativity, energy, and perspectives — making every session unique.

What we explored together

Our January programme offered a mix of creative, physical, and wellbeing-focused activities, including:

  • Mindful Movement workshops designed to support wellbeing and connection
  • Mask and tapestry-making workshops that encouraged creativity and self-expression
  • Theatre and stage combat workshops, where participants built confidence, collaboration, and a sense of play

These sessions weren’t just about learning new skills — they were about creating safe, joyful spaces where people could connect, express themselves, and feel part of something bigger.

What participants said

The feedback we received truly made our month:

“Wish there were more groups and opportunities like this.”
“I feel absolutely fabulous!”

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, took part, and shared their energy with us. Your enthusiasm is what makes this work so meaningful, and we can’t wait to continue building more creative opportunities together in the months ahead.
