We’re proud to share our second Impact Report, celebrating another year of creativity, connection, and community here at Harbour House.
From April 2025 to April 2026, we welcomed more than 40,205 visitors through our doors — whether for exhibitions, workshops, movement classes, community events, or simply a coffee and conversation in our café. Every visit helped support our mission to make art, creativity, movement, and wellbeing accessible to everyone in our community.
Over the past year, we:
- Worked with 32 artists from across Devon and Cornwall
- Delivered 85 free workshops and events to 2,889 participants
- Hosted 1,702 movement classes with 13,386 attendances
- Welcomed 1,564 attendances across visual art classes
- Partnered with 10 local organisations including Kingsbridge Food Bank, Learn Devon, and the National Health Service
- Offered free room hire to local groups supporting the community
One standout project this year was our Move and Make Holiday Club, delivered in partnership with Kingsbridge Food Bank and later Kingsbridge Community Primary School. Together, we delivered two weeks of free holiday activities for children aged 8–12 who face barriers to accessing creative opportunities and childcare during school breaks.
Alongside creative workshops and movement activities, children were provided with breakfast, snacks, and lunch each day — helping respond to growing concerns around food poverty and holiday hunger within our local community.
This year also marked the second year of our engagement programme, which continues to grow through conversations, feedback, and collaboration with local people. From our exhibitions programme to our wellbeing offer, community voices remain at the centre of how Harbour House evolves.
We’re incredibly grateful to our artists, facilitators, volunteers, partners, funders, supporters, and everyone who walked through our doors this year. Whether you attended a class, visited an exhibition, shared your experiences, or supported our work behind the scenes — thank you for being part of Harbour House.
This work continues to be made possible through support from Arts Council England, Henry Moore Foundation, and Kingsbridge Town Council, alongside the generosity of our wider community.
We invite you to explore the full report and celebrate everything we’ve achieved together over the past year. There’s still so much more to come.
