Join Sarah for a nourishing active and yin yoga practice that will lift your spirit and help sow the seeds for growth in the dark days of winter. Immerse yourself in a flowing yoga sequence before settling into a series of deeper, restorative yin poses to nourish your soul. This 2 hour workshop is designed to create greater range of motion in the back, neck and shoulders before exploring the hips and hamstrings, using a variety of props and drawing on a conscious connection to breath. Rebalance physically, mentally and emotionally to restore harmony on and off the mat. Suitable for all levels.
Sarah Scott has been practising yoga since 2000, immersing herself in a variety of styles ranging from Hatha and dynamic yoga practices to yin, pregnancy and restorative yoga. She qualified as a yoga teacher with The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and her teaching style places as much emphasis on proper breathing (pranayama), relaxation and meditation techniques as the physical asana practice. Sarah is revived by the restorative effects of practising outdoors which sees her taking her mat into green spaces or down to the sea whenever she can.
