As Autumn arrives and the days become shorter our thoughts turn to winter. Around us the natural world responds by withdrawing and preparing to hibernate during the longer nights ahead. We too start to adjust – the clothes we wear, the food we eat & perhaps the yoga we practice. We may be drawn to a quieter and more intimate yoga - a practice that preserves energy and helps deepen our sleep and relaxation patterns.
This workshop will be an exploration of yoga best suited to this time of year. We will practice asana (including moon salutations as we have a full 'Blue' Moon on this auspicious day), enjoy a deep relaxation technique and share a guided mediation which draws on images from the natural world.
