Whether this is your first time on a yoga mat or whether you have a well established personal practice, each of Rachel's sessions is sequenced to include you - all the classes are open to all levels as she will guide you through the sequence of poses offering alternatives to suit all abilities. Each session is an invitation to connect inwards - connecting the movement of body to breath, resting the mind, letting-go, lengthening, strengthening, generating a profound sense of well being. Welcoming wellness into the body and soul.
Rachel's training comes the Himalaya and Mysore traditions. She offers ashtanga-inspired vinyasa flow with iyengar alignment. Every class has a focus on promoting wellness in the body and mind incorporating the traditional values of holistic ashtanga practice: self awareness, posture, breath and meditation within a fluid sequence of asanas (postures). She is an accredited teacher with the Yoga Alliance.
