Having recently completed an in depth Yin yoga teaching course with Yin master Norman Blair, Martina now offers sessions that alternate weekly between the Yin and Yang aspects of a balanced yoga practice. Yin yoga is a system of long held passive floor poses (Asanas) that may appear similar to restorative postures but is in practice a substantial different system of yoga both physically and mentally.
A consistent Yin practice can lead to an increase in physical agility, energetic vitality and mental clarity. Yang sessions are typically more energetic with flowing vinyasa sequences. An emphasis on mindfulness is offered throughout both practices.
