This class is suitable for all abilities and anyone new to yoga.
Release, relax and calm your mind and body with 75 minutes of blissful yoga, guided mediation and relaxation.
Yin yoga is the best way to stretch the connective tissue around the joints, whilst Restorative yoga is the most amazing way to completely release and let go of physical and emotional tension. The combination of both, along with guided mediation and relaxation is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Slowing down, connecting with the breath, tuning inwards and going beyond the mind is a beautiful way to self care and reduce the effects of everyday stress and burn out.
What is Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga poses apply moderately stress to the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments - with the aim of increasing circulation and improving flexibility. A meditative style of yoga creating an awareness of inner silence, peace and calm.
What is Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a practise for slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles are used to support your body.
