A local photographer presents atmospheric and compelling landscape and images of nature from the glorious South Devon and Dartmoor area. The exhibition also includes a selection of works documenting broader travels.

I have been a keen amateur photographer for nearly 50 years. I was given my first camera, an old Yashika with a broken lens casing, at the age of 6. My uncle was going to throw it away so was happy to pass it to me as a 'toy' to play with. But it still worked – and from my very first roll of film I was hooked. It was 1972 and on a school trip to Greenwich and the Cutty Sark I took my first snaps. They were the start of my lifelong love affair with photography, and I still have them to this day.
