Super Sunday Yogi Club - Laughter and Yoga Workshop

Cost: £25 per person

Join us for an afternoon of fun, rejuvenation and relaxation. Donna will start the afternoon by leading you through a unique yoga class, combining dynamic yoga and uplifting music, to energise the body, mind and soul. This will be followed by delicious, nutritious and healthy refreshments. Sophie will round the afternoon off with a laughter yoga workshop. This will include laughter exercises, playfulness and a laughter meditation; all designed to help you unwind, de-stress, happy and energised.

About Sophie:
I live in Slapton with my family and dog. I'm a group fitness instructor and have been teaching fitness and wellbeing classes, including hula hooping, Zumba and laughter yoga, for over 9 years. I love to hula hoop, walk, practice yoga, meditate, learn, cook and play. I absolutely love facilitating laughter yoga. It encourages participants to relax and engage their playful side. Laughter yoga is a practice involving voluntary laughter, and is practiced in groups, with eye contact and playfulness. Voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. Forced laughter soon turns into real and contagious laughter. People leave a class feeling happier and energised.

About Donna:
I live in Malborough with my husband Marcus and labrador Deezil. As well as yoga and SUP, I love wholesome food, green juices, grass roots travel and dogs! My favourite book is The Art of Hearing Heartbeats and favourite movie is 50 First Dates. I am a qualified Yoga Teacher, Holistic & Complementary Therapist, and Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Board Instructor. I offer regular yoga classes and holistic services, in Salcombe and Kingsbridge, Devon, through my practice Simply Soulful where I help individuals to feel empowered and to 'Smile on the Inside'. I also run retreats in UK and abroad through my sister business Divine Soul Retreats. I invite mindfulness, compassion, relaxation and good health into my life in all that I do.

Alleviate anxiety through, yoga, meditation & relaxation

3 hour workshop with Georgina Lynch, Blissfit Yoga

Cost: £45 per person

Learn how to alleviate anxiety through the practise of yoga, meditation and relaxation. Gain an understanding of how to meditate, breath correctly and gain a knowledge of therapeutic techniques and tools so you can take back your control and learn to live your life in the present moment.

The day will comprise of:

Gentle Hatha flow
Yin yoga postures
Restorative relaxation
Complimentary herbal tea and healthy treats.

Hand outs will also be provided with the techniques and tools learnt on the day.

Fully qualified and experienced 200hrs DipFROYG Hatha Yoga teacher, Therapeutic Counsellor & Life Coach. I will be applying all of my skills and experience to provide a therapeutic day of blissful practise, techniques and tools.

More time for deeper exploration of some of the postures, breathing exercises and meditations and more individual attention than in an ordinary class as the numbers are limited. Each workshop has a theme, partly influenced by participants' needs.

Suitable for those with some experience of yoga.

Lucie draws on her training and experience in yoga and dance, creating sessions that build strength and flexibility in a graceful way. She blends posture work and relaxation in a harmonizing wholeness, held together by the focus on breath and mindfulness, opening up to the innate joy and peace at the source of our being.
Lucie has practised yoga for 23 years and qualified as a yoga teacher in India in 1996. Her teaching is influenced by different strands of Hatha yoga which she weaves together to suit the participants in each class. She has taught regular classes, workshops and one-to one sessions at Harbour House and throughout Devon since 2002. During the past year she has also run retreats at Bala Brook retreat centre on Dartmoor.

Sophie is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher and trained dancer. Ina is a Certified Yoga Teacher teaching Holistic Yoga and Vinyasa Krama and is also a Senior Physiotherapist working for the NHS.
