If you have considered doing some yoga exercise gently or energetically, then one of these classes is a good place to start.
They are lively and fun classes, ideal for beginners and with teaching tailored to individual needs by senior yoga teacher Stephen Harding.
Yoga complements other sporting activities, increasing suppleness and strength.
Ashtanga is excellent if you want to learn an athletically demanding style. Students learn a series of set postures performed in a sequence,
synchronising breath, movement and muscle control to develop strength and stamina. The sequences stimulate vital energy and the mind becomes clear and bright. Once learned, the sequence can be practised at home, using weekly sessions for adjustment and to refine your practice.
