Sarah Scott has been practising yoga since 2000, immersing herself in a variety of styles ranging from Hatha and dynamic yoga practices to yin, pregnancy and restorative yoga.
Qualified as a yoga teacher with The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, her teaching style places as much emphasis on proper breathing (pranayama), relaxation and meditation techniques as the physical asana practice. Through a series of linked postures, Sarah guides her students to improve flexibility and strength in an active practice or to soften into stillness in a more meditative practice, developing mental clarity, creativity and energy, and creating positive affirmative change to body and mind through greater awareness of breath.
She tailors her poses to suit the student so, whether new to yoga or looking to develop a deeper practice, she encourages every individual she works with to let go, tune into themselves and find their own path on the yoga journey.
Sarah is revived by the restorative effects of practising outdoors which sees her taking her mat into green spaces or down to the sea whenever she can.
