Catherine has been practising yoga for over 15 years and began teaching in 2007 when she qualified with the Mandala Yoga Ashram and British Wheel of Yoga. With over 20 years of professional experience as a dance teacher and choreographer in addition, her teaching celebrates and harnesses the body’s innate love of moving to restore ease and joy.
Classes offer a good balance between physical practices, the breath, deep relaxation and meditation with a different primary focus each week. She recently completed Yoga Therapy Foundation modules, and has experience of working one to one with students with specific health concerns, including osteoporosis, stress & anxiety and recovery from stroke.
As a qualified and experienced Pregnancy and Post-natal mother and baby yoga teacher she enjoys supporting women and their children as they grow together and has taught widely, from primary school children and teenagers to the well over 50s and surf enthusiasts.
Her warm and inclusive classes are grounded in safe practice and open to all abilities.
Come along and enjoy some time to nourish and revitalise yourself.
