Mum and baby yoga is a relaxed class in a friendly, supportive environment open to any parent or caregiver looking after a new baby. The class is a combination of simple post-natal yoga for you, and playful physical fun, music & rhymes for your baby. We work on gently mobilising and conditioning your whole body, including the pelvic floor, to regain tone and ease, and wind down with breath awareness and relaxation. Tea & cake and a chance to chat follow. From about 8 weeks is a good time to start but if you and baby feel well, sooner is also possible, just ask.
Catherine is a British Wheel of Yoga accredited teacher, from the Mandala Yoga Ashram of Wales, and qualified in Pregnancy and Post-natal Yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Yoga Campus, The Life Centre Education, London.
