Whether you are new to massage, or would simply like an opportunity to practise and exchange, this workshop is for you.
Massage is one of the most ancient healing arts and has been used across time and cultures to ease pain and tension in the body, relax, soothe and uplift the spirits. This accessible workshop is open to all who wish to learn, refresh or enhance their massage skills. We will explore simple and effective techniques to take home to practise with friends and family. We will consider posture, breath work, and self care skills alongside hands on techniques with a partner. We will work mostly through clothes, but also with oils. From babies to the elderly, everyone can benefit from massage!
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring a mat, blanket and cushion. Refreshments provided.
